1-Sent payment for a c.d i ‘won’ on ebay
2-Found out the surprise destination my dad’s taking my mum for a 65th birthday holiday. Guernsey. This provoked the following classic conversation.
Me-Guernsey? Why there?
Dad-I’ve never been
Me-Has she said she want’s to go there in the past?
Dad-No. She wanted to go to Vienna but it’s too expensive.
3-Threw ½ my dinner down the toilet
4-Deleted my Beatles fan site from the internet
5-Drank a cuppa coffe after fishing a danny-long legs out of it and now having a hypochondriac episode or...

4-On drive back listened to old radio show tape where I interviewed Philly band M Fakter (www.myspace.com/mfakter). I became good friends with them but lost touch. Googled when I got home and now we're catching up.Other old music friend sent message his (10th?)book is coming out in October: Starting Over:The Making of John Lennon & Yoko Ono's Double Fantasy by Ken Sharp

1-Dragged myself out of bed to take the dog for a pee at about 9.30 'cause i was starting to worry if I didn't he'd pee all over my parents new carpet
2-Rang my phone 'cause I didn't know where it was and tracked it down to a coat in my wardrobe.
3-Read a text from my dad telling me to 'record that tiger program'. (it was the night before and due to #2 I didn't record it)
4-Went on a google st. view nostaliga fest.
5-Spent ages trying to light the grill which unlike the hob is errrm...electric. *slaps own head*

Well, I didn't have any mulligatawny, (although I like it), but last night made the mistake of grabbing a couple of handfuls of leftover bhujia mix ( sort of very spicy peas/peanuts/weird crunchy things for the uninitiated) last night while waiting for my daughter's pals to cease their chatter downstairs ( they were having a manga movie night) while I was webbing with wed wine.
So today has started with:
1.A good deal of groaning in bed, and not the pleasant sort.
2. A bad session in the karzi.
3.More of No. 2, above, yes it's apposite, I know.
4. A shower, and thankfully the gripes seem to have ceased.
5. Good hot fresh-ground coffee and shift the car so the delivery men can drop of 20 bags of ready-mix concrete, 20 kilos each, which I will have to manhandle on my own.
I will too shagged out tomorrow to tell you the rest.

1) Woke up early, started computer and checked email.
2) Downloaded software so I could see an additional segment of a video tribute to my mom for her 80th birthday on Saturday (being celebrated after her church on Sunday as a surprise party) that I've been working on all month, and thought was finished the day before - until brother and nephew added this final segment, which turned out great!
3) Found music options to go under above video segment, converted them to mp3s and email'd them to my nephew. (Production is out of my hands now!)
4) Watered yard areas not covered by sprinklers. (It's gonna be a hot few days.)

This is from two days ago, but it's more interesting than "today:"
1. Stayed up 'til 4:00 a.m. with dying 18-year-old cat.
2. Drove to veternarian's office, with cat on my lap, to have cat euthanized.
3. Said goodbye, and gently handed cat over to vet's assistant.
4. Drove back home, sad and catless.
5. Threw litter box and geriatric cat food in trash. Tried to be extra nice to dogs.
Okay, that might have been six things.

1 Woke up in a Paris hotel room still wearing a dressing gown and a bit confused about my dream concerning David Cameron and his ownership of a park. Finished reading this month's MOJO's special on Macca.
2 Went to a meeting with some French people - my colleague in London appearing on a big telly. Talked about "Ref Connexion" - the French dudes misspelt an English town called Carshalton by leaving out the "L" - the result made me laugh.
3 Went to another meeting with some British dudes who had travelled to Paris especially and who told us we need to pay the engineer we'd like to hire 300,000 euros. Which was nice.
4 Had lunch in the slightly posh bit of the staff restaurant (the really posh bit is on the first floor), had salmon and asparagus but unfortunately my companion was v v boring and I had to work very hard to engage him in conversation. Nevertheless we found common ground in our combined criticisms of another colleague who is even more boring than him.
5 Travelled home on the Eurostar and accepted the food tray even though I'd just eaten. Sampled the cheese (pooh) and the pate (slightly browner pooh) and the dessert (green pooh). Consumed the bread and wine though.

1. I took my breakfast outside and ate it then watered my roses, trimmed them a bit and watered my hanging tomatoe plant. I noticed I now have 11 tomatoes growning on it (yeah!!!!) as Friday, I only noticed 4.
2. Walked downtown with the mister to a sporting good shop with a huge summer sale going on. We each bought a T-shirt (hideous price if it hadn't been on sale) and relished in the fact that we bought such quality merchandise at a bargain basement price. Walked back home.
3. The mister moved both of our Muskoka chairs underneath our massive spruce tree and we both read for about an hour, quietly enjoying the lovely weather whilst both drinking a Stella.
4. Ate dinner which consisted of a hamburger for the mister and a salad for me. I do eat hamburgers but just didn't want anything that heavy.
5. Later, we both went out for our usual evening stroll. We stopped at the coffee shop, pick up a coffee and walked home. We sat on our front porch to drink our coffee and engage in some conversation..... all the while, me content in the fact that at least after dinner
I do spend my time with the

1- Woke up to the sound of a squirrel running across the roof to the tree where my birdfeeder is, to eat all the seed.
2-Let my dog out to scare squirrel. The squirrel scurries about 10ft up into the tree and mocks my dog for not being able to climb.
3-I throw an apple at the squirrel, miss, but close enough that it flees to roof and runs away.
4-Consider getting my son's paintball gun and keeping it on kitchen counter, but decide it would just end up all over the tree and my dog. Decide that I will move birdfeeder out of tree to a squirrel-proof pole instead.
5- Made a pot of coffee and read Sunday newspapers.

2. Went to my office and did many work-related tasks, but also spent some time looking at my personal finances while on the company clock.
