I don't know about THE but I'm certainly A. I do know of one other of the same name and he's a falconer.
We're under Kinder Scout in Hayfield. I'm afraid I have limited knowledge of Chesterfield - it's a place I've been through rather than to.

This "Stratospheric Fantasy" sounds VERY RIGHT ON! I love anything Dukes.
It would be even MORE GROOVY if there were those long rumoured miniature sculptures of each Duke included!
PS: Welcome Rasputin!

I bloody hope so... I'm not sittin' here at 1.30 in't mornin' strainin' me eyes through a purple fog fer nowt.

It is happening - artwork is just about finished, bar a little sanding and buffing, and everything is going into production this week.
Here's a sneak preview...

I turned my Imac around to face out the office door, went out approximately 15 feet into the our TV room, turned around and LOVED what I saw on the monitor!

Hi Andrew, I see very clearly that the box will be superb, but be careful so you don´t burn to much midnight oil... And in this case I would anyway suggest strange smelling incense instead!

Just a suggestion...you know the 25 'o' clock pocket watch that is actually a usb stick? Would it be possible to have a fully functional 25 'o' clock pocket watch (or wristwatch) for that matter, instead of the usb stick?

One small problem I can see on the horizon Bee food...'Fully functioning' would mean 25 hours on the face...well the last time I looked there were 24 of your earth hours in a day...surely very soon the watch would be next to useless on account of losing an hour a day...UNLESS Andy has a word with God or Gordon Brown to change the world to 25 hours a day...it would mean having 57 and a half minutes to the hour but it could work...

I'd like to wager that when most people look at their watches they look at the position of the hands rather than the numbers on the dial, therefore its irrelevant what is printed on the dial.
I don't agree with this statement...I'll wager most people DO look at the numbers too...so the main reason it would be an icebreaker at parties would be because you will be always late with your stupid bloody watch...

It certainly is a beautiful set, I'd love to have one but I think I'm going to end up being annoyingly practical and realize I don't need to pick this up. I don't even own a decent record player. In my small apartment I don't even have enough open table top to put together the puzzle!

To be honest, what I really want from this package is the t-shirt. I think the new cd packages are splendid (got em) and I have the original vinyl issues. But it does appear to be a true work of art, NICE JOB

Yes it is. The reverse is a highly detailed photograph of a blank jigsaw - it'll be a killer!
Thanks for the kind comments about the set - I can't wait to see it all together for myself. Just to answer any queries about the LP sleeves being altered... it was a stipulation by Virgin that they could not be released in the same artwork. This is also part of the reason for the "XTC as" tag incidentally.
