Folks, it´s great stuff. Remind me a little bit of Monstrance, but the songs are more structured. Great wicked guitarplaying from Andy on "Lover" and the way he sing on "Falling Into The Future" is a kick for any XTC-fan. Highly recommended!

This is quality and for less than two quid you can't go wrong. This really is good stuff. I'd love to see Stuart Rowe and Andy do more together. I don't really want to compare this with anything else because its so individual, but imagine a supergroup consisting of Goldfrapp, Miles Davis and Massive Attack led by Lighterthief and Andy Partridge and you won't go far wrong. Of course, in my opinion Lighterthief (on this ep) knock Goldfrapp and Massive Attack into a cocked hat. Not Miles Davis though, I'm afraid. Maybe on the next recording!
Two quid! Less than a bag of spuds. Get some! |

Far away from the average boring route. But why so silent here? I suspect that some of you bastards still haven´t listened to Lighterthief!

Maybe they think that the film clip is enough, Per!
Well, let me tell you it ISN'T! Buy it if only for a brilliant demonstration of Andy Partridge's genius - his guitar/vocal chops will not fail to impress you. And for Lighterthief to harness this genius and take it to this level is amazing! |

I feel a little bit sad over the people that are missing such glorius music. Mr P have a nose for finding those with extra talent. For example, just listen to Veda Hille, The Milk And Honey (!) Band, Jen Olive – and Lighterthief. All high class. |

I have to add my two cents here about what great stuff this is - I'm looking forward to more. I'm impressed not only with the music, but also Stuart Rowe's talent as a recording engineer - nice sound on everything! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Yes, the only thing against this release is that it isn't enough. More! More!
Also, I wish downloading FLAC files would be a possibility. As was tweeted recently: "Apparently a CD contains only 25% of the sonic information of a tape, and an MP3 only a shocking 0.75%". So, I would like my other 24.25% (IMG:style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) |

Well now I can't get 'All the done things' outa my head...a brilliant track. Of the 3, 'Falling into the future' comes third for me being as I am not a keen jazz follower but still very listenable...Well done SDR and friends... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

André's right -- would love FLAC downloads (although the other 99.25% might just be too much for me... )
Well done all round. One of the most satisfying downloads in quite a while, cheap at the prices, as they say. |
