Bob Mould - For whatever reason, I always think of Andy when I listen to Workbook, especially "Wishing Well."

Joe Jackson - I just think this would be a perfect fit.

Brian Wilson - Wasn't this actually a possibility at some point? I thought I read that somewhere.

Big Star - Haven't heard the reformed stuff yet, so's don't know how it would fly these days, but if there's any of the old magic left then they could mesh pretty well, musically speaking.

Stewart Copeland - Just imagine it.

Gary Barlow - That would be good, a quirky love song album (and they live quite close to one another I think)

Gaz Coombes - like it honeycomb

Paul Weller - That will have edge, and a significant height difference.

Peter Gabriel?

That old fart? (IMG:http://ape.uk.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) I suppose they could collaborate on the soundtrack for the upcoming The Last Temptation of Dawson.

Roger Eno might be an interesting collaboration. I feel sure that their senses of humour would mesh very well.

...I seem to remember Weller slagging off our Andy some years ago in Smash Hits or somesuch, something along the lines of '..He thinks he's so clever, but he ain't...'. Of course he may of mellowed since then...

Great shout.

Wouldn't mind him actually featuring on a Charlotte Hatherley recording and hooking up with Doves, Norman Cook or Blur.

That leads me to another question but that's for a different thread.

...here's a thought i had not moments ago: 'The Partridge Family' - the project would involve Andy & Holly doing a wonky cover of 'Come On Get Happy' & they'll also rope in Harry to supply a nice little accompanying animation- Erica on backing vox, bob's yer uncle, fanny's yer aunt!

...this is either brilliant or really rather stupid...

Bring the Dukes back for an album and collaborate with Mark Mikel of the Pillbugs. Mark Kelly the bassist past away so the bugs are no more.
I have the original vinyls of those albums and they get spun quite frequently. Actually, I wish Andy would sign Mark Mikel he'd fit right in.

Another interesting match would be Ray Davies.

I'd love to hear a collaboration with Neil Finn. Neil could do with a little salty edge and Andy might benefit from a bit of sweet.
